My Question or Issue

My daughter turned 13. I sent her a link to join our Family account. Turned out that when filling the form it said she had not the required age to get a Spotify account… The required age is supposed to be 13??!! I don’t get it…

Spotify’s regular service is designed for listeners 13 years and older, though the exact minimum age can vary depending on local laws. You can check what applies to your country in the sign-up flow. If your daughter meets the requirement, she can create her own account and join your Premium Family plan.

If she isn’t old enough to sign up for a regular account just yet, you can still set up a Spotify Kids profile for her instead. Since you already have a Premium Family plan, this is included at no extra cost. You can find more details on how it works here.
