Premium family problems

I just payed my family premium since my son cancel his. But my daughter can’t join us because she used to be on my son’s plan!! Really? She has to wait 12 months? I rather cancel the plan

My Question or Issue

Why can’t my daughter join my family plan, just because she used to be in my sons plan last month?  Isn’t it the family plan goal?

Hey @Tricojose, thanks for reaching out to the Community!

 

She can switch between different Family plans, but only once in 12 months. If she tries switching more than once, she'll get an error message saying You can’t join this plan.

 

If the plan manager switches between Family and Duo, this doesn’t affect the invited members and is considered the same plan. The 12 months start counting from the first time you switch plans.

Just want to add here to what @Billy-J mentioned.

 

This is indeed correct, however, you can bypass this by creating a new account and linking it to your plan.

To make it smooth and easy, you can check out this Spotify Answer on how to easily transfer your old account's data to the new one.
