My Question or Issue

I joined Premium Family from my device on 10th May 2025 and got Welcome invite mail on my registered email id and the payment was made in full for a month which I have cross verified with the bank as well. On Night of 12th May I was removed from my Premium Family Spotify account stating the payment was not made as it was automatically cancelled. I had used UPI to make the payment which is still showing it as a valid successful payment till date. 

 

More to my dismay when I tried to login from the same Email ID  (On which I received Welcome Email)  into Spotify it showed that the email is not registered and not linked to any Spotify account. Tried contacting the support team but they were not helpful at all, they just asked me to buy Premium again as no payment has been made. 

 

I am pretty shocked and frustrated by the turn of events as I have been a loyal premium customer for more than 5 years and this is the first time this is happening at least expected some help from Spotify India. Now despite making payment I have to use the free version of Spotify.

 

I Urge for an immediate Refund of the payment made if Premium Family cannot be restored as per the Refund Policy. Looking forward to a solution at the earliest.

I’m sorry to hear that! Thanks for being a loyal Spotify customer. In this case, I'd recommend getting in touch with Customer Support. You may need to provide information specific to your account like the last 4 digits used to purchase Premium, so they can confirm you own the account. They'll take a look and do their best to help.
