My Question or Issue

I'm following the steps on how to "manage your family plan", but can't send an invite to use the spare spot as the device we want to use it on is a repurposed iPhone.

I've installed the app, but can't upgrade from Free to Premium in the app.
I'm not going to use an existing account as that messes up playlists and stops on the "original account".
We're still within the family plan limits.
We are using the spare in the same address as others users, for when we are all together to listen to same music.

Can you please let me know a little more about what’s happening exactly? Are you seeing any error message(s)? If so, which one(s)?

I'm going to the account page, manage family account and then add/remove members.  Issue is we are using an older iPhone that does not have Messenger, SMS or Email.  So how do I send the invite to this stand alone phone, that is only running on WiFi?

Thanks for clarifying.

 

You don't need to use the invite link on the device specifically. After creating the invite link, you can copy it and then log out.

 

Once that's done, simply open/paste the invite link and then you can accept the invite using an existing account or a new one.

 

You can then use the account you've accepted the invite with in the iPhone's Spotify app.
