Spotify Family Plan Stopped Suddenly





My Question or Issue

For years I've been on the premium family plan with three other members, one of which pays for the plan. I use Spotify almost every day, so when suddenly I went on and saw ads on my page, as well as interuption from my music for ads, I was surprised. I use my phone and my desktop computer (With Windows) to listen. Everywhere it says my account is the free account, so I was wondering if Stpotify got rid of the family plan, or if my father forgot to pay for the month?

First of all I suggest that you ask your father about the payment. If he says he's paying for it, you might have been removed.


The thing is sometimes the information once given to Spotify (regarding the users’ addresses) don’t match the ones they have. The data might be incorrect, incomplete or outdated, hence the removal of some users.


In this case I suggest you get in touch with the Spotify Cares staff - They'll be happy to help you further with this.

When you message them, inform all the e-mail addresses on the plan.
