Spotify Family Premium only using my main account on Alexa speakers

We are a family of 5 - each with an Alexa speaker in each bedroom. We have linked Spotify to the Alexa and have Family Premium but the Alexa only recognises the main account (mine) and therefore as soon as my child starts listening to Spotify in their bedroom it stops my Spotify from playing. Can anyone help please?

Thanks for reaching out.

It's currently not possible to link multiple Spotify accounts to a single Amazon account and since it's also not possible to play music from the same Spotify account on 2 devices simultaneously, you're seeing the behavior you've described. 

For your particular setup, it's best to create separate Amazon accounts for each room/family member and link the respective Premium Family accounts to them.

To share music between the accounts, you can take advantage of the Collaborative playlists feature.

Please can someone help explain how account limits are enforced across the family and within Alexa. Specifically:-
- Are streaming limits of only one device at a time still enforced or is limit shared across the family? e.g. If Spotify is installed on my kids phones under my account, is it possible to have spotify plan on 6 phones at a time still signed in as me or do we all require individual acocunts?
- How is Alexa counted within the streaming limits? If we have 6 Alexas across the house with the skill signed in as me, how does that impact streaming limits?

Thanks for merging into this thread.  Clear from the response Spotify is not for our family needs here.
