My Question or Issue
We are 2 people using the Spotify premium family account and at home we have a Sonos system with 6 speakers in different rooms. Problem: when one of us is hearing music at home with Sonos the other user  that is not at home will be kicked out in Spotify when he tries to hear music via iPhone.
How is the setup in Spotify family and Sonos so that this problem doesn’t happen? Do I need a separate user for the Sonos system? And if yes, how can I change the user account in Spotify if I am at home or not?

Thanks for reaching out here and welcome to the Community. We're happy to shed some light on the situation.


With Premium Family each member gets their own Spotify account. If a family member is listening on your Sonos speakers at home, they need to make sure that the speakers are linked to their own account. Head here to check out how to link accounts.
