Spotify Kids login not working on child's phone

My Question or Issue

I installed Spotify kids on my phone and setup my childs profile on there.  It lets me login with no issues.  However, when I try to login on my childs phone it tells me

Login Failed. The information you entered is incorrect.  Double-check and try again. 

Then when I tell it to send me a link, it wants to send an email to my address and not my child's address which wouldn't be much help anyway as I'm trying to login on her phone and don't want to login to my email on her phone.  But, I tried anyway and got

Oops!  Something went wrong.  Please try again later.

A Spotify Kids account doesn't have an email address on it's own, so you won't be able to log into the app using your child's email address. 🙂

Instead, you'll need to log into the app using the login credentials of your own account. If you use the method where you can sign in through a link, you could request it and then send it over to your child's device where you can open it.

I am having this issue as well.i can login to Spotify fine on my phone, but when I try to login on my son’s phone, it gives me the login failed message. I am using my email and password. Any way to fix this?

I had to disable content restrictions on the iPhone before it would login.
