Spotify ads now used in Premium podcasts

Today Spotify ads are now appearing before, during, and at the end of each episode of my podcasts.

To be clear i dont mean the ads that are part of the podcast. I mean Spotify pushed ads (including incredibly annoying banners). So now i have to listen to two seperate forms of advertisement three times during each podcast while paying for a Family Premium account.

Please tell me that this is a glitch or bug which will soon be sorted? I cannot bear this level of pushing ads when i specifically pay not to receive any at all. I will not continue paying for this if this is now going to be the service is provided.

I am sorry to hear this. Can you send me a screenshot the next time you see this advertisement on your end? That way I can take a look. Make sure to hide sensitive info when posting to the Community. I’d also like to mention that Spotify doesn’t play ads that interrupt the music listening experience, however, some podcasts may include advertising, host-read endorsements, or sponsorship messages.
