Spotify doesn't let me join family plan

Spotify doesn't let me join family plan

Hello,

Today I tried to join Spotify Family as I got invitation by a friend who I live with, so I cancelled my individual plan via Google Play as I was paying my subscription with it.

 

Here I thought it was going to be alright as I cancelled the individual plan and proceeded to join the family plan, but I got a notification that I had to cancel my individual plan in order to proceed, but I've already done that, so I follow the link to Google Play Subscription page where it shows me an error stating that it cannot find my plan even though I clearly see it there showing up as cancelled/annulled.

Please note that I confirmed that I am logged into the correct accounts and they are connected also note that I've not used any other plan types other than individual since I started using your service.

Could you assist me in confirming that my plan is indeed cancelled, so I can join my roommates' Spotify Family?

Thanks for reaching out.

 

Your Premium will stay active until the next billing date, so your account is still linked to Google Play for now. You’ll just need to wait until it reverts to free on that date.

 

You can check when this will happen on your account page.
