Switching from a Vodafone linked account to a family accout

I currently get my Spotify subscription via my Vodafone contract. I'm switching networks so want to sign up for the family plan separately instead. My subscription with Vodafone expires after today. When I tried to sign up it said I was unable to as my account was signed up via Vodafone. Do I need to cancel my subscription via Vodafone first and the sign up again? Will I lose all of my playlist etc?

Yes you need to cancel that first or simply wait until tomorrow.

Also, not to worry as your account will be intact. Everything you have in there will stay, you will just switch plans.
