Trying to join a family plan & is telling me the addresses don't match?

Trying to join a family plan & is telling me the addresses don't match?

I'm have tried everything I can think of, but it is continuing to tell me that the address I am entering doesn't match the one on the family plan. I am even copy pasting the exact address that was used to create the plan and it's still not letting me join. What is going on? Yes, I got an invite successfully. I have tried on my phone and on my laptop, also in incognito mode. Nothing makes a difference.

  • Double-check the address format: Make sure the address you’re entering matches exactly, including things like the use of abbreviations (e.g., "St." vs "Street") or any small differences like spaces or commas.

  • Region mismatch: Make sure your account region matches the region of the family plan. Sometimes, if your address or region doesn’t align, it can cause issues.

  • Clear cache and cookies: Even if you’ve tried incognito, clearing your browser’s cache and cookies (or using a different browser entirely) might help refresh the session.

  • Update your address: If your address on the account isn’t fully up to date, you may need to update it to match what was used for the family plan.

  • Contact Spotify Support: If none of this works, it’s best to contact Spotify directly. They can check your account and the family plan invite to make sure everything is in sync.
