Upgrade the existing Premium subscription to family plan

Hi All,

I just get married. I would like to upgrade my existing Premium Subscription (It will be expired on 28/11/2018) to Family Plan for sharing music with my wife.

What should I do? How will be the current subscription balance? Will the system charge the difference only?

Hi @kensonman Welcome to Spotify Community and Congrats on your recent marriage! 🙂
 If you've already paid through Nov. (such as the yearly Premium deal) the thing that will change is your renewal date. Since the family plan costs more per month, it bumps up your renewal date based on the difference. Once you change plans, you can check the new date on your account page.

There's also a great support page here that guides you through all the other questions and setup of Premium for Family. It's definitely helpful for sending invites and managing the plan once you switch it over.
