Upgraded to Family I cannot add members

I signed up to Spotify many years ago and my account country in UK.

I now live in Spain

 

I was on Individual Premium, today I changed to the Family Plan. 

 

My Question or Issue

However, to add members to the plan I need to enter my address.
But Spotify only allows me to enter and address in the UK. It will not accept my Spanish address.

How do I sort this out?

For anyone else with the same problem.

 

I ended up contacting the Spotify support via their chat system.

1. They refunded my premium purchase.

2. They cancelled my subscription.

3. I could then change the country in my profile.

4. I then resubscribed to the family plan with Spanish payment details.

5. I could then add family members to my plan.

Hey @erneig 

 

Most of those problems come from a difference between the country shown through your IP address, and the one in your profile.

 

First, check your IP address here.

After that, compare it to the country shown in your profile.

 

If you opened your account with Facebook, your country is tied to the country shown in your Facebook account, so you may need to change it there.

 

Also, your payment method (if you used one for Premium) must match your country too, so you may need to delete it to update countries.


Change your country setting in your profile page so it matches what your IP address shows.

Thanks, but there is no problem with the IP address, the Spotify website displays the site in Spanish.

 

But I still cannot enter a non UK address for family members.

 

I tried to change my country in my profile previously but it is greyed out and will not allow me to change it. I'm guessing that this is the problem. 

 

I cannot change my card without changing the country because it will not accept a card from a different country to your profile.

 

How do I resolve this??
