Why Spotify Family can't play on Echo Speakers.

Why Spotify Family can't play on Echo Speakers.

I switched From Amazon Music Unlimited to Spotify Family because it is superior in many ways.  What I did not realize was that Spotify would render my eight Echo speakers useless, except by the main account.  I wish I did my research before the switch, but it seems such an illogical limitation imposed by Spotify.  Am I missing something?  Is there a workaround that makes sense?  Will this issue be fixed?

Thanks!

Hello,
You sent me links that were from threads started 4-5 years ago. If you
read the posts people were and still are upset about the limitations with
Echos on the Family Plan. I really think you should be more upfront with
people about the limitations so they (me) wouldn't be so resentful. I
understand that you don't go into detail about dealings with third parties,
particularly one that has a competing application. I wish you would just
own it and say Amazon does not allow full integration with our Service
regarding their Echo speakers. Make Amazon the **bleep**. I transfered my
playlists, cancelled Amazon Unlimited and THEN realized Spotify simply does
not work. I guess that's my fault, but it is so illogical and because there
was no heads up from Spotify I 'm going to blame you anyway. 🙂 Now I am
going to have to undo and redo all that I have done, cancel Spotify & not
recommend it to folks w/ Echos.

BTW, your email directing me to the treads above does not help, but simply
amplifies my frustration and informs me that I am in good company with my
complaint.
