Why doesn't Duo Premium provide my wife Premium features?

Why doesn't Duo Premium provide my wife Premium features?

I purchased Duo Premium and invited my wife to join, which she did successfully. However, Spotify will not allow her to listen to audiobooks (lock symbol on Play button), play ad-free music, or choose a shuffle preference. She has checked that status of her account and confirmed that she is a Duo Premium member. She has logged out of the Spotify app and re-credentialed, but that has not corrected the problem. Advice or guidance would be appreciated.

Hey @sloancoj,

Thanks for reaching out.

While only the plan manager can access Audiobooks included in Premium, she should be able to use all other Premium features, as long as she's logged into the right account.

Can you please ask her to head into the Spotify app settings and then click on Account? Does it say Free or Premium there? 🙂

She did check her account status, as the image I posted originally shows. It says that she is a Premium Duo member.

Hey @sloancoj,

Thanks for getting back.

The screenshot wasn't taken in the Spotify app 🙂

This is how the Account section looks within the app:

Only the plan manager has access to the free audiobooks. It's dumb.
