Why the F am I paying for Spotify Family if my kids cannot use it?

My Question or Issue

I upgraded from Premium to Family as my kids have been using my Premium account and obviously when they use it I cannot. Now I cannot use the Family either since my kids (7 & 11) are not allowed to create Spotify accounts for themselves. But FAMILY has an option of me protecting them from unwanted content (which I don't understand in music anyhow), so what's the point of preventing them from generating user names? Shall I just generate them accounts pretending they are older? 

How do I get FAMILY working the way SPOTIFY promises without having to misuse it?????
