Why was my Family plan cancelled?

Why was my Family plan cancelled?

I had a $90 credit and set up the family plan in December. Yesterday my family members got notifications that they had been removed from the plan. I now have an individual premium plan? What happened to my credit, why wasn't my payment method used and why was the family plan ended?

Thanks for coming to the Community.

 

It sounds like you’ve redeemed multiple Gift Cards, as there are no $90 Gift Cards available. Please note that they cannot be applied to discounted plans such as Premium Student, Premium Family, Premium Duo, or trial offers.

 

However, you can redeem them for Premium Individual and then switch to a different plan like Premium Duo or Family. This will bring your next payment date forward, since those plans cost more than Premium Individual.

 

Based on your description, it seems you redeemed an additional Gift Card after initially redeeming a batch and then upgrading to Premium Family.

 

After the Premium Family time was up, your plan changed back to Premium Individual. This is because Gift Cards can only be used for Premium Individual.
