Hello, my brother got kicked off the family plan, and an error message says, "It looks like you’re trying to join a family plan from a different country. Family plans are only available for family members who live together. Try again when you’re at the same address."
However, my brother is living under the same roof as me. I’ve checked for any verification emails in spam or elsewhere, but he receives a message stating he’s in another country when he’s not. Can someone help us resolve this so he can rejoin the plan?

The customer support is completely messed up. No matter how, they will end the conversation without providing any useful information.
There isn’t a solution to this issue at all sadly except to cancel the service.
Understood. My situation is that my sibling is still living under the same roof. Two weeks ago, she traveled to Singapore for three days, and during that time, her account was removed from the family plan. When she returned to the home country, she was unable to rejoin using the invite link. I also helped verify that her account's country information was set up correctly. However, it seems like something on the backend is blocking her, and Spotify support hasn't been helpful at all. I've had to explain the situation eight times across different conversations, and each time they send a 'funny' reply and end the conversation without giving us, as customers, a chance to ask further questions.
Same issue for days now. Customer support always ends up giving that canned answer that you need to get your own premium or join the duo of another household member (there isn’t any). It’s frustrating to see that you can have been paying premium for years but when you move countries and need support and everything seems to be fine but is just not working, Spotify simply ignores you.
Hey, we recently moved to Turkey and i would like to join a family account. We live at the same address and the country of both accounts is set to Turkey. But still i always get the error message that we need to be in the same country. My partner created the family account without problems but i am not able to join it.
I tried on several devices and incognito tabs to join.

I tried reaching out to the support in chat but it doesn't help. They either leave the chat or advice me to subscribe to a new plan myself which i obviously dont want to when we have one that is being payed for already.
I have the same situation. We both live in the same house, husband, kids, dogs, everyone, but Spotify says I doesnt and wont let me update my credit card because it doesnt match my country, but THIS is my country!
Please stop making these things so complicated for no reason. I live with my girlfriend in another country and for some reason i can't share my duo plan with her. Nonsense!!!

spotify is so bad it makes netflix look good as atleast u dont have to do this stupid thing where you have to live under the same roof for netflix plans
