'Your addresses do not match'

My Question or Issue

Attempting to accept family premium invite however consistently displayed 'Your addresses do not match' despite being the correct address.

 

The address is a match, apart from the postcode. (Please see below)

 

The family plan address does not include the second half of the postcode.

 

When attempting to join the family plan Spotify automatically includes the entire postcode.

 

I am unable to correct this.

I am using the latest version of Spotify. 

 

Please may you help me join the family plan.

Hey @Gfbuller, thanks for reaching out to the Community!

I don't see any screenshot that you have provided. To insert a screenshot, reply to this post and go to the Attachments section and you'll see an option to drag and drop the image or browse your computer to attach the image - and if you're on a mobile device, there should be a button to tap to select the image you want to upload. If you would still like to upload your screenshot, I'll be able to take a closer look and see what could be happening.

 

Are there other family members that are being added to the plan? If so, can you let me know if they experienced the same issue that you're facing. Also, can you make sure that your country settings on your account match the country you're in currently as that can interfere with verifying the address. If it's correct, try this again using a different browser or private window.
