addresses didn't match, tried several times.

addresses didn't match, tried several times.

I'm setting up an account for one of my children using the exact same address and it says it doesn't match, cross checked the spelling 3 times, tried inputting about 5 times and used the "confirm address" so that the software goes and finds the address listed and it still can find it. Still says addresses didn't match.

Thanks for reaching out.

 

The first thing I recommend doing is making sure that the country setting set on both accounts is the same. You can check this at https://spotify.com/account.

 

If all the info is correct (the address your entered as well as the country setting on both accounts), you can try accepting the invite again, but this time from an incognito window and a different device. Using a different internet connection might help too.

Thanks for the reply Maxim, but yes I did make sure the country was the same and that is correct. My child only has one device so I can't use a different device.

I managed to try a different device and that didn't work either.

I updated my address (albeit the same as was already entered) then copied and pasted this in to my wifes invite, resolved the issue and allowed her to join my duo. Tried everything listed everywhere, I had not found this resolve else where 

This worked so far just updating the address
