family subscription help

just upgraded to the family account but now it seems both of us have the same music. We dont want to share music as have different tastes etc. I thought the family acc gave each user their own account?

Welcome to the forums!

 

You do indeed have your own music when you are on the family plan. However in order for that you each member of the plan needs to have their own account and email address linked ot that account.
