link kids account to smart speaker

I have the family plan and my child is not old enough to get their own account for me to link. How do I link a kids account to their smart speaker so that it plays suitable music. so far I have only been able to add my own account which defeats the objective of having the kids account

Thanks for reaching out.

I believe that it can only be used within the Spotify Kids app. 🙂 If you'd like to sign in on a smart speaker, you'll either have to use your own account or create one for them using your date of birth.
