Closed old account with student premium

I recently decided to close my old Facebook account, which was also linked with my old Spotify account. I then decided to close the Spotify account too and make a new one on my new email. I had student premium for a while on my old account but I changed debit cards and let the plan run out. I tried to get student premium on my new account, but it says my credentials are associated with another account, obviously. I then waited a week for the email confirmation that my old account was closed. I just tried for student premium again on my new account but I am running into the same issue. Does anyone know what to do besides pay for a regular premium plan?

If you'd like to have your discount transferred to a new account, you will have to reach out to SheerID first. You can find them here.
The issue is most likely that the discount is still associated with your other email & account.
Tell them what the issue is about and they'll take it from there.
