I am not able to proceed with Student verification as I don't use 'Last Name'.

I dont use last name anywhere and since I am supposed to provide last name for verification, I usually put my first name in the section of last name to proceed with the forms and plane tickets. Since my last name is not there on my physical documentation of institution, I am not able to verify my status as a student.

Hi! This is a known limitation with the student verification system. SheerID requires both a first and last name field to be filled in, even if your official documents only show a single name.

If your institution records you with just one name, the best approach is usually to enter your name the same way it appears in your school’s system, and then repeat that name in the last name field if the form won’t allow it to be left blank. Many users with single names have had success doing this.

If verification still fails, the next step would be to contact SheerID support directly and explain that your institution recognizes you under a single name. They can manually review your documents and adjust the verification if needed.

Spotify Support can also help guide you, but SheerID is the one that handles name matching and eligibility, so they’re typically the fastest route to a resolution.
