My Question or Issue

I was charged for student premium but did not get the membership. The amount was deducted from my bank account but when i opened the Spotify website, it showed me that the payment was unsuccessful. Though I eventually was able to sign up for the membership after trying a second time, i still couldn't recover the previously deducted amount. Is there any process for refund of the previous amount deducted?

It’s very likely just a pending charge if you haven’t received a receipt from Spotify via Email 🙂

A pending charge is a part of your bank or credit card company’s authorization process. When you submit a payment, they place a temporary authorization on the funds.

If the transaction doesn’t successfully complete, no money will be taken and the charge will soon disappear. The time this takes can vary, depending on your bank/credit card company. For more information, contact your bank/credit card company.

I am a student and yesterday rs.59 was decided from my account to renew the Spotify premium membership but even after the money was debited the membership hasn't been given
