My Question or Issue

 

I verified my student status using SheerID and received an email saying 'You're verified! Get student discount'. However, when clicking the link, it says 'Something went wrong' when I try to connect it to my account. (screenshots attached)

 

I have tried incognito browsing, Chrome and Safari, VPN and different devices. I have tried logging out of Spotify, but nothing is working! I also browsed the forum but nothing has been helpful. Please can you guide me on how to apply the discount to my account. Thank you so much!

Hey @svadeyar,

 

Thanks for posting in the Community and the extensive troubleshooting already tried.

 

One of the main reasons for the inability to activate the Student discount are eligibility criteria. Could you make sure you're not trying to activate the discount for a 5th time? The discount can be applied only 4 years long.
