Premium paid, the student plan switch: overcharged?

My Question or Issue

 Since I paid the premium price, $9.99, before I saw the $4.99/month student price was an option, will I be credited for next month's payment or did I essentially throw $5 extra to you? Mostly curious. But feel a little overcharged now...  To be clear, I have Spotify, Hulu, and Showtime accounts running on the student plan fine now, and haven't had an additional charge. Thanks for you attention to this matter.
