Problem with credit card and student discount

My student status has been verified and approved, my university even appears on the list of universities but once I return to put in my credit card, I get an error that says "It looks like your card is from a non-Spotify country.", I'm in Puerto Rico and it even accepted my card for the free 30 day trial so why is it giving me this error now?

Do you have any trouble signing up for the discount using an incognito window? What about from a different device?


If so, make sure your card meets the requirements listed here and try signing up again.
