Spotify for students + regalo Spotify premium

Ciao a tutti. Sono iscritta a Spotify premium for students e per Natale mi hanno regalato 6 mesi di Spotify premium. Se attivo il regalo cosa succede? Sono 6 mesi che si accumulano alla mia promozione o la students si disattiva? Oppure paghiamo entrambi per nulla? Grazie.

We hope you don't mind us replying in English. It sounds like you've received a gift card and are asking if it will pause your Student Discount period if you redeem it. 

The Student Discount can be renewed every 12 months (up to 3 times), as long as you’re eligible. If you add a gift card to your subscription while on the Student Discount, the value of the gift card will cover a portion of your Student Discount year.

This means that if the next renewal date of your Student Discount is in September for example, and you add 6 months of Premium to your subscription, you won't have to pay for anything for 6 months, but the renewal date of your Student Discount will still be in September.
