Student Account Renewal

I cannot find the email or never received an email to renew my student discount for Spotify Premium. I have followed the steps to try to renew my subscription, and when I get to the verification portion, it tells me that I have already been approved, but it still won't let me switch to the student account. This will be the third year I've had Spotify Premium, so my email should still be valid.

About 4 weeks before the discount expires you should receive an email to renew and re-verify your eligibility with SheerID. Sometimes emails can end up in the spam/junk folder and if you've not already taken a look there, could you check just in case? It's worth mentioning that if you've tried to renew the discount with an older email from SheerID this would be unsuccessful. 

 

If you can't find the new email, no worries. You can re-verify your student eligibility directly from the Account Page even after your discount has expired. After you've gone over the verification process, you should receive an email to apply the discount to your account and then should be able to switch to Student Premium. I recommend taking a look at this article
