Student Discount and Hulu not merging

I decided about a year ago to get the student Spotify + Hulu discount. A few months ago, spotify asked me to renew my student subscription, but I forgot. When I did renew it however, it wouldn't merge with the Hulu account. On Spotify, my account says that it is the student discount, but Hulu says I don't have a subscription. I've contacted Hulu's help, and they said that the issue was on Spotify's end.
