Why am I getting double charged

I tried signing up for spotify for students it wouldn't let me and said my college was invalid i canceled and then I signed up for regular premium. My bank account was charged the 4.99 for student premium and then 9.99 for regular. This was on the same account with the same bank account card. I'm being charged $15 and I'm NOT Happy especially since it wouldn't allow me to sign up for student premium.

If Spotify is unable to verify your student I.D, you won’t be eligible to claim the student discount. In this instance, any charges will show on your statement as ‘pending’. This means your bank has put a temporary authorization on the funds, but no money has actually been taken.

Once the bank confirms your student I.D failed to verify successfully, the money will reappear on your statement. This can take up to 48 hours, depending on your bank. You can reach out to them for more information about any pending payments.
