My Question or Issue

I tried to pay for Spotify premium under the student discount using UPI Autopay mandate method. The mandate setup is reflected in my UPI aggregator app, but neither my bank is charged nor I am given access to the subscription. I am getting too many issues while paying for Spotify Premium.
Any help is appreciated

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome. 

 

From what you kindly mentioned, it seems the payment didn't go through. We'd recommend double-checking if your payment method has sufficient funds, and is:

  1. Registered in the same country to your Spotify account.
  2. Not expired or canceled.
  3. Enabled for foreign, secure online, and recurring purchases.
  4. Opted into e-commerce and cross border payments.

If your payment methods meet these requirements, but the issue persists, try this:

  • Try entering your payment details again using a private/incognito window.
  • Get in touch with your payment provider, so they can check if everything is in order.
  • Try subscribing with a different payment method to check if you notice any difference.

But how to subscribe with a different payment method if it does not even show up in the spotify platform

Make sure you've selected the correct country (at the bottom of the page) and the correct plan and you should see the available payment methods for this region and plan.
