Charged twice for changing from premium to student

Hello, I recently changed my year-long premium subscription to the student discount, and was charged twice in the same month. First 6,99€ for the normal premium, and then, the next day, another 3,49 for the student discount.

Is this normal procedure? when you change your type of account you get charged twice?
