Switching Subscriptions

Currently I have the regular $10/month subscription but my mother is looking to get the family subscription (she too has the $10/month). Would she need to first cancel her plan and get the new one or is there a way to transfer billing automatically. Additionally, do I need to cancel my plan or will billing change when I’m added to the family plan.

When activating the Premium for Family subscription, it will be available to you immediately. You can then add your family member through this page! 

 

You won't get charged when activating it. However, keep in mind that your billing date might come a bit earlier than usual, since Premium for Family has a higher price than the regular Premium. This is to compensate for the time you were able to use the plan without paying 🙂 

 

When you're added to the plan, your regular Premium subscription will also automatically get canceled.
