Adding my wife - but she can't change her country?

My wife and I live in Turkey. I just switched my Premium plan to a family plan to add my wife. We are both American. My account is an "American" account insofar as I use my US debit card as my payment source. I am trying to add my wife, but her country seems to be stuck as Turkey, which is a problem, since we need to reside at the same address (the relevant address is in the US, given my payment). How can she change her country setting to USA? She has not added any payment information before. She just had a free account. Thanks for any help.

Thanks for coming to the Community.

In order to be able to successfully get your wife onto your Premium for Family plan, you'll need to change your account's country setting to Turkey, as that's the country you're currently in, and that's the country your wife's account is set to.

It's not possible for your wife to change her account's country setting to the US because the setting can only be changed to the country of current residence. 🙂

However, my payment method is my US debit card. So I cannot change my
country to Turkey. (And I do not have a Turkish account I can use as my
payment method.)

I understand that, but unfortunately, a Turkish payment method is required.
