My Question or Issue

 

We used to have the premium plan but I signed up for family premium. When I go into any browser on my account I see that I have family premium and that I am paying for it. When I reopen the app it only shows premium. I tried to send my wife the invite and it shows that she is on the family plan in the browser but we cannot figure out how she can create a new count in the app. It always goes back to the main account and we cannot listen to different music on our devices.

As long as your account status says Premium Family, then you're all set. 

 

Could she try creating a new Spotify account on a different device? Make sure that she's not logged in to the plan manager's account (if so, log out so that she can create her account). If she is not sure how to create a Spotify account, she can do so here - and then log in on the app.
