Can't add family member of 13 years old

My Question or Issue

My son became 13 yday and I want to add him to the family plan. It is not possible for him to make an (free) account and then add him via the family link to our family plan. 13 year olds are allowed (see Spotify rules) to have an account under parent's consent.... What are we doing wrong here?

I'll be happy to help.

Happy Birthday to him. I checked, and he should be able to create a free account and join your Premium Family plan.

 

Could you try creating an account for him here? If you're having issues, try again using a different browser or private window. 

Let me know how this goes.

Could you tell us what's preventing him to create the account - what type of error message does he see? 

 

Which step are you able to reach until it's no longer possible to proceed?

 

Additionally, we'd love to see a screenshot as long as any sensitive info, such as email address, date of birth and so on, is hidden 🙂
