My Question or Issue

I just upgraded to Spotify Premium and entered my current address in Denmark. I sent the link to my partner, who is right next to me, who entered the same address.

 

But it says she doesn’t live in the same building so can’t join?

 

The only thing that I think might be an issue is that my account is a UK account and hers is Danish- but I’m only in Denmark temporarily and don’t want to set up a bank account or anything.

 

According to what I read before I signed up it should just work.

Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community! We're happy to shed some light on the situation.

 

In order for you and your partner to be able to use Premium Family together you need to live at the same address and your account's country settings must match. This is due to for various technical and legal reasons (the cost for the monthly subscriptions varies from country to country).
