Can't claim my google home

My Question or Issue

I can't claim my google home. I have never registered, but it says I have. When I try to check availability it says please try later. I have never received an email. If I don;t make the request the email not be sent. So a response of please wait is not taking any action. 

Please respond advising if registration has actually been submitted, and advice of next steps if not.
