My Question or Issue

 I want to give a year of Spotify Premium to a friend, I can't seem to do this? What am I missing something? Is Spotify seriously dim enough to not have an option to gift some Premium to someone???

You should be able to buy an e-card at https://www.spotify.com/purchase/ecards/.

I tried this earlier, I think this may only be an option in the US

Can you open the link in an incognito window or a different browser:  https://www.spotify.com/purchase/ecards/? Maybe that'll make a difference.

this results in a 404 - any updated way? only option I see is through ebay/paypal and it keeps rejecting the order saying unable to process

Spotify no longer sells e-cards themselves, so the only way is through authorized sellers, such as PayPal.

If you're having issues purchasing it through PayPal, I'd recommend reaching out to them.
