Changing a premium account to a family account

My billing just charged me on the 19th of March and I want to change my account from a premium to a family. Does anybody know if it will charge me 14.99 right now after i just paid the 9.99 on the 19th. Or does it prorate. How does it work. I tried talking to the chat people and they don'tknow jack. Thank you

Hey @user-removed, welcome to the Spotify Community!

When you upgrade from Premium to Premium for Family, your previous payment will count towards your new subscription, so you shouldn't be charged until at least April 10th ($10 Premium counts towards 2/3 of the $15 Premium for Family, so your payment date is brought forward).
