Family Plan - play stop bc account in use by someone else???

Family Plan - play stop bc account in use by someone else???

I have a family account and even though my wife and I are logged into spottify under our  own usernames, when we are simultaneoulsy trying to listen on our phones, we keep kicking one another off spottify asnd get the message that we are unable to listen at this time as someone else is using the account. How do we resolve this?

That doesn't sound quite right.

Are you really sure that you aren't using the same accounts?

Because you wouldn't get the message that you can't listen at the same time. 

And could it be that somebody else is using your accounts?

We both clicked on the account icon and each saw our separate username. We
tested it and each time I pressed play it kicjed her off and visa versa..
Agree it doesn't make sense.
