My Question or Issue

My son has received the email inviting him to the family plan, but when following the two links (visit this page; accept invitation) it requires him to log in or create a new account. There is no place to enter the invite code, or to continue with the 'family plan'. The only log in we have is for myself, the parent and if I use that, it goes into my account, not a separate account.

In order to benefit from the family plan, your son needs to have his own account, which is why he is being redirected to that page. Only once he has created a new account can he accept your invitation. 

 

The idea of a family plan isn't that two people share the same account, but rather that two (and up to six) accounts can benefit from a Premium membership at a reduced rate, each with their own respective account.
