My Question or Issue

 In the past 4 months I have been kicked off my family plan twice, and when clicking on the link to verify my address, it will tell me that the address cannot be verified. 

 

When clicking on the link I receive in my email I have tried spelling things out, abbreviating, using/not using periods, using my spouses name; and to no avail, no matter what changes I try, I have not once been able to get it to work on my own. 

 

Is is there someone who can help me understand what I am inputting incorrectly into this verification and why it thinks it knows my address and I do not?

Hi @jpoole, thanks for writing.

 

Sometimes the information once given to Spotify (regarding the users’ addresses) don’t match the ones they have. The data might be incorrect, incomplete or outdated, hence the removal of some users.

 

In this case I suggest you get in touch with the Spotify Cares staff - They'll be happy to help you further with this.

 

There are a few ways to contact them. One is to reach Spotify via Twitter - just send them a Direct Message @SpotifyCares.

 

You can also use the Facebook support. Shoot them a message here: Spotify Cares.

 

When you message them, inform all the e-mail addresses on the plan.

Thank you for the reply, however there are issues with your two solutions.

I do not have a twitter account, and though this is a great way to reach your users, this does not help me in any way.

The second of which is that you need a dedicated application for using facebook messenger if you are trying to resolve a problem while mobile. I personally do not have the application due to space on my phone dedicated to other items.

Im sure these issues have been brought up, so I may just be reiterating something that you are actively working on finding alternative solutions for.
