Family spotify on Bose soundtouch 20

Hi there,

About a week ago I got a family premium - with 3 months 'free'.

I also have a Bose Soundtouch 20. I can link my account but it won't play music direct from the app. The only way to play spotify on my ST is by bluetooth connection. It would be nice if it would work.

I read that others with family premium do manage to get it on the app of the soundtouch.

Is it because it is now a free trial? So after 3 months, when I pay - will it work then?

Just to confirm, did you want to play Spotify through the Bose SoundTouch app rather than directly through the Spotify app?

If so, do you mind trying out the steps listed in this Bose support site article and letting us know if that helps If not, let us know and we'll see what else we can suggest.

In the meantime, we'd be interested to hear if you have any specific reasons for using the ST app versus the Spotify app. If there's an issue with the Spotify app, we can look into it 🙂
