Hi,

 

my husband sent me a family invatation. I have free account but cannot accept invitation? Why?

We have just moved from Finland to Amsterdam and my husband has Finland in a country in settings and I have Netherlands but you are not allowed to change my country. How can I change it back to Finland so I can get family spotify to work.

Hey @familymember,

 

you you can change your country like this:

 

  1. With a free account you can do this by visiting your account page here.
  2. Change your country and post code.
  3. Click save profile

  1. If you got a premium account visit your subscription page with this link.
  2. Click update
  3. Click ...
  4. Than click Change Country and enter your payment method with a billing address.
  5. Than click change payment details.
  6. Now your country should have changed.

Hey @familymember, thanks for writing!

 

Besides what @Luke told you, it's important to know that since you're living in Amsterdan, both of you must change your country settings to Netherlands. If you're not using VPN in your devices, the app itself should detect it.

 

Also, be aware that the payment method must match the country you're in (so use a Dutch credit card if possible).
