Kicked out of family plan (NL)

My Question or Issue

I got the verification email from spotify for Family and I verified my address within the 7 day window. Still I got an email 7 days later that my address was not verified. I live at the same address as the owner, so I am confused what went wrong. All the help documents are vague and not useful in solving this issue (I'm guessing its a technical issue).

Hey there @timfaber,

 

Thanks for posting and welcome to the community!

 

All members of a Premium for Family plan must reside at the same physical address. You receive this email when we aren't able to confirm the information you provided when we asked to verify your address. Just to clarify, did your account remain on the family plan despite that email notification?

I contacted support and after a lot of work (setting up a new account) it
worked. There must be an easier way to do this though.
