Kids live with Ex

Kids live with Ex

Couple of things I want to check before I sign up for a Family premium account.  I'm on Amazon at the moment but my kids both use the free version of Spotify so I'm thinking of taking out the Family account.

1.  If I start a family account and send invites to my children, will their existing free accounts just get upgraded or will they have to start again?

2.  My kids live with my ex but it says that family members have to live at the same physical address.  Is that going to be a problem for me?

it looks like Spotify doesn't give a **** about kid(s) and parent living apart. They just fail to recognize how huge is this target audience.

I have the same question, did you get an answer please?

Thanks

Sadly not. It does seem like a strange rule when it must be a very common
scenario. For me, it's a show stopper and I'll stick with Amazon Prime
music. My kids still use Spotify and will just have to put up with the
adverts
